PREDICT is an easy-to-use, ncurses-based satellite tracking and orbital prediction program that was developed for the Linux operating system.
It allows users to track satellites in Earth's orbit in real-time, or make orbital predictions in advance of their approach.
A unique voice mode allows azimuth and elevation headings of a satellite to be articulated to a ground-based observer through a soundcard in real-time. This aids in locating and identifying satellites through optical means.
